And the winner is…
First, I’d like to thank everyone for sharing their funny stories with us. I really got a kick out of them all! However, there’s one that stood out, at least to me! As a big boobie girl myself, I really appreciated Jennifer’s story about her daughter telling her she hoped she didn’t get boobs as big as hers! So Jennifer is the proud winner of 24 custom holiday cards. Jennifer - email me to claim your prize!
And, since no post is complete without photographs, here are a few from a recent wedding.

Happy Friday!
Hey, just wanted to say hello and wish everyone a happy weekend! I also felt like giving something away! And since the holiday season is quickly approaching and I just purchased my new card templates, I’m going to make this a christmas card gift. I’m giving away 24 custom holiday cards to the person who posts the silliest thing their kid has said lately. So, post away and I’ll decide which one wins! I’ll post the card templates when I get a chance, just know that they are awesome!!
6 commentsLook who’s almost walking!
This little guy was so close to walking at his one year session! In fact, I’d be willing to be he is by now? As you can see, he was standing, but, would not take any steps for the camera.

Every moms dream…
We can all relate to the desire to have a family photograph…one where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. Well, this is next to impossible when it comes to toddlers in the family. I had a blast with this family, watching this little guy run around (he literally did not sit still the entire session!). I will post the “real” sneak peek later, but, I just had to show this series of images. Can’t you just hear him saying this??
Something you don’t see very often
As a photographer, I am definitely more comfortable on the other side of the camera. However, I am taking part in a challenge on one of my photography forums, to get in front of the camera more often. I was outside taking pictures of the kids playing the other night and handed the camera to David. I am always the one taking the pictures and am therefor, in very few of them. I don’t want my kids to grow up and not have any pictures of me when I’m gone. I know that’s a little morbid, but, we sometimes have to think about these things. So, here’s one that David snapped of me while I was enjoying the beautiful weather, a nice sunset and the sound of my kids playing in the background.
I couldn’t decide which version I liked best, so, here’s all three!

Here he is….well, sort of! It is technically his first session with me (but, definitely not his last). I will be spending lots of time with this family from now on. They just moved here from Florida where they had a long standing relationship with a photographer there. They have beautiful photographs of their family! I can’t wait to add to their collection with all the sessions we will be doing over the next year.

Izzy Again
This is how we started out….
and this is how we ended….
And we got lots of good stuff in between.
She was happy with Daddy!
Daddy’s need to feel loved too right? They often get the raw end of the deal with our babies, especially newborns. Mommy gets all the love and baby gets all mommy’s love. Poor daddy is left out!
O.k…so, she was happy with daddy, but, who do you think she was smiling for??

The Neale Family
First off, I have to say, how impressed I was with this family. Usually when you have four kids under the age of 6, it tends to get a little crazy. Not so with the Neale family. I got great images of the whole family with everyone actually looking at the camera and smiling (I didn’t have to do any head swaps either!). The kids were very well behaved and for the most part did whatever we asked them to do. It was a pleasure and the images are beautiful!
These are just a few of my favorites, I’m saving the best ones for you guys to see at your ordering appointment!! Enjoy!

Hope you like the design and functionality of the new blog. I am going to celebrate the launch with a contest. I haven’t done one in a while so, I’ll make it a good one!
So, I’m giving away three sessions.
1. To the first person to email me.
2. The first person to guess my middle name
3. The first person to send me a baby picture of themselves!
Good Luck, I’ll update with the winners as I get them.
ETA - Lori Brown wins the first session for emailing within minutes of posting, Kelly Todd wins the second for sending me the cutest baby picture (I’ll share once I get her permission). And two lucky winners, Jennifer Lanum & Allie Chatson (?) for guessing my middle name within seconds of each other! Thanks everyone for playing!
